Less than four weeks stand in the way of the Northeast Conference cross country teams and the NEC Championship November 1. Week six was light on the trail for the NEC as only three teams competed. Mount St. Mary's competed at the Paul Short Invitational Saturday, and had strong showings from Athletes of the Week Tommy Gruschow (Carlisle, PA/Trinity) and Kristen Galligan (Frederick, MD/Governor Thomas Jefferson). Gruschow led Mount St. Mary s with his 29th individual finish with a time of 25:45. Galligan medaled as the third place finisher, crossing the line at 21:32, the best 6K time recorded in the Northeast Conference this season.
