This past weekend, several NEC Teams raced in the Princeton Invitational (Open and Championship Divisions). Saint Francis U had a strong showing from NEC Men's Cross Country Athlete and Rookie of the Week Ryan Kennedy and Bryce England. Kennedy was the top NEC finisher with an 8K time of 25:32. Kennedy was followed close behind by teammate England, who turned in a time of 25:40, the second fastest NEC time of the invitational. Sacred Heart's Elizabeth Hutchins and Tara Connelly led the Pioneers to a ninth place finish at the Princeton Invitational that featured 35 women's teams. Robert Morris raced in the Canisius Alumni Invitational in its final tune up prior to the NEC Championship. Marissa Polk won the Individual Title in the 5K race with a time of 18:51.2.
