Sacred Heart used a collective effort to cruise to its second consecutive NEC Indoor Women s Track & Field team title. The Pioneers built a wide lead on Saturday and held it all the way through Sunday s action. SHU piled up 162 points while runner-up LIU Brooklyn finished with 137. Posting its highest team finish in more than a decade, Central Connecticut s 64 points were enough for third place in the team standings.
