There haven t been many performances better than those that Brendon Rodney and Elizabeth Hutchins turned in last weekend. In Rodney s case, there has only been one performance in all of NCAA Division I that topped the time that the LIU Brooklyn sprinter produced at the Boston University Terrier Invitational. On his way to repeating as the NEC Men s Track Athlete of the Week, Rodney ran the 200m dash in 20.78s. The time easily won him gold at the meet and catapulted the third-year Blackbirds into second place on the NCAA leader board. Only Texas A&M s Prezel Hardy (20.70) has registered a better mark at the collegiate level than Rodney has this season.
