The final weekend of competition prior to the 2014 NEC Indoor Championships produced some fine results. After turning in the second-fastest 200m time in Division I this season one week earlier, LIU Brooklyn sprinter Brendon Rodney ran to victory in the 60m dash at the Metropolitan Championships in New York City. Securing the NEC Men s Track Athlete of the Week award for the third straight week, the Canadian-born Rodney also anchored LIU s winning 4x400m relay effort.
